Our Toddler program is unique and progressive, placing emphasis on activities that facilitate independence via daily routines. We focus on the balance of structured activities and free play with collaboration. The programming at our childcare centre is designed to build social skills and encourage experience-based learning. Toddlers are introduced to our academic program through our High-Scope (theme based), Montessori, Play-based, Reggio Projects and learning styles. We integrate core education fundamentals like mathematics, early printing, and project work tailored to your child’s age and unique abilities. Our goal? Create a seamless and masterful transition from home to school, so your child has the best head-start possible for the next step in their educational journey. Our Toddler program is a more structured environment with a schedule that incorporates the stimulations of both indoor and outdoor learning. We expose children to a wide variety of materials to assist with multi-dimensional learning and we actively encourage both collaborative and independent learning.
What are the core elements of the Toddler Program?
At Bradford Academy, our toddler program aims to introduce academic programs through a variety of learning styles, which integrate mathematical concepts, language, and literacy as major cornerstones. We assess children’s aptitudes individually in order to best tailor education to their specific strengths. We understand that taking care of young lives goes beyond an early academic start! We look at children holistically and strive to help them foster social skills, confidence, and both critical and compassionate thinking.
